Hurricane Irene is on her way to south eastern NC!
As most of us are aware form watching the news that Hurricane Irene is heading to our part of the world. There are a few things that we must pay attention to when dealng with this sort of thing.
1. Don't Panic!
2. Make sure your insurance payment was put in the mail!
3. Then repeat and rinse!
Actually in all seriousness there are many things to consider. I have lived in NC my whole life and 20 of those years have been in Wilmington, NC. I have had the opportunity to hunker down and "ride out" over 7 major hurricanes and know the routine very well.
The Wilmington area knows what to do and are already getting prepared for the worst. Chances are that we will be just fine when and if the storm hits, but you can never be too prepared.
So folks, crack open the beer and fire up the grill. It could be a bumpy ride!
