Fabulous 5 Apps for Realtors

By
Title Insurance with First American Title

I do a lot of education related to technology and social media and am therefore often asked, "What are your favorite iPhone apps for real estate.  My answer is simple "The ones that save me time and make me money!"  Facebook and LinkedIn are a given and I'm particulary fond of LinkedIn's latest update.

In no particular order:

bump appBump - remember my blog, "Business Cards Going Dinosaur"... probably not!  Rather than exchange business cards you can immediately exchange contact information, request Facebook, LinkedIn, Twitter, etc connections, and share pictures if desired.

task proTask Pro - this app allows me to remember all the promises I make every day.  I can create sub-categories, assign due dates and times, set reminders, etc.  Must have for the busy bee

red laserRed Laser - if you don't know what a bar code or a QR code is then click here.  This technology is free and it will allow your clients to immediately connect with you, your website, your listings, etc.  If the client uses Red Laser it will automatically save their search so that they can find you later.  You can also use it to scan items at your favorite store and compare prices to other stores close by.

photosynthPhotosynth - this app is by Microsoft.  It allows you to take amazing panoramic photos.  Ever wanted to quickly send a picture of an amazing living area to a client from your phone?  With Photosynth you can easily take panoramic photos and then text or email them.

geniusGenius Scan - turns your iPhone into a pocket scanner.  Let's say your customer signs a contract and then you want to get it to the title company asap.  You can photograph the document in less than a minute, convert the picture(s) into a PDF in seconds, and immediately email it to your favorite First American Title branch.  Amazing!!

I like these apps, but they don't seem to have them for the droid.

I'm in the process of upgrading my phone, laptop, tv  pretty much everything techy . . .  everything is crashing at the same time!    I will most likely go the iphone and ipad route so these are very helpful apps!

Thanks.

Yudi,

Bummer on the missing droid apps.  I believe the Red Laser, Bump, and Photosynthesis are on there but what do I know, I'm an iPhone man.  I'll bet Susan and Judi's next commission check droid has something very similar.

Glad you checked out the apps.  It's all about getting more out of technology.  A client sent me a contract last night from the lake using the Genius app.... gotta love it!
