Earlier this afternoon, I felt my first earthquake! I was sitting in my house working away on my laptop and the house started to vibrate, then shake back and forth! As I live fairly close to Dulles International Airport, I thought a 757 may be crash landing on my house, lol. And as quick as it came, it was gone.
It sure was an interesting experience. It left me laughing but it showed me the true power of nature. Of course, everyone in the DC area went into panic mode. Cell phones lines were jammed. I couldn't make a call for 30 minutes. DC doesn't do snow, rain or earthquakes very well, lol.
Hmmmm...I'm wondering how this will affect all the home inspections in the coming months??? Should be interesting, that's for sure.
