How could I have overlooked the content of this Group, The Art of Marketing You, for so long?  I joined the group several months ago, post to the group occasionally and even had a few posts yanked off the group. Don't worry, I deserved to have those posts yanked, and I received a very clear explanation.  

I don't really know Marti Garaughty, but I do know that Marti teaches The Art of Marketing You.  I have also checked out Marti's Active Rain Profile, which includes Testimonials from several trusted and familiar Active Rain Members.

 

 

 

 

 

Being a member of Active Rain is exciting, entertaining, productive, educational and provides the opportunity to accomplish many things.  However, it can also be distracting, mesmerizing and addictive (yes, it's true).  Our desire to share knowledge, experiences and to socialize with our Active Rain Friends, is a commitment of time.  WE must be practical and purposeful in how we invest our time.  

I will be the first to admit a need to refine my Blog Plan.  I have recently created several Community Videos and Promotional Posts, for the city of Mission Viejo.  These types of posts need to be a first priority for me, even though I enjoy the fun stuff much more.  

I like fraternizing with my Active Rain Friends, and look forward to those special times, usually late at night.  But, it's time to get better at marketing ME, in order to get better at marketing my community, my listings and to attract new leads.  Marti has provided some excellent guidance on how WE can improve.

I was inspired to write this post after reading Marti's Post: welcome to The Art of Marketing You... Group Guidelines.  The Group is getting close to 10,000 Subscribers, and YOU should be one of them.

Per Marti: The Art Of Marketing You is for real estate agents, brokers, lenders, stagers, home inspectors, etc... who want to share their real world marketing ideas and experience.

Don't make the same mistake I did.  Start reading Marti's content and learn The Art of Marketing You.

Learning from the experiences and knowledge of others, is the shortest path to success.
