24 Comments on Pay it Forward...Saved the Life of a Little White Labrador in Charlotte, NC
Judith what a wonderful Pay It Forward! I am a huge pet lover and would take them all in if I could. It is so sad that so many are put to death. Have a great weekend!
It's impossible to imagine that someone could turn away from that sweet face! What you did for this little guy is incredible! If there were any way in heck that I could take a dog right now I'd scoop him up. Unfortunately, I think the major problem with people today is they get animals when they aren't at all prepared to care for them. I don't want to be a contributor to that problem!
YAHOO!!! You saved another pups life! You're the BEST!!!
Hi Sussie, when the time is right you can rescue a dog and save it's life. It is the best feeling.
Hi Rob, thank you for your comment. Just taking the time to care and make the effort to send an e-mail saved this beautiful pups life. I am so glad that I tried and each and everyone can do it and more would be saved. Have a great day!
Hi Sherri, I can definitely relate to you for feel the same way. Have fostered in the past but could not give them up...LOL...I am a true foster failure and proud of it. Have a great afternoon!
Hi Margie, I wish you were ready for the report is that he is super sweet and his tail wags a mile a minute. You will know when the time is right and rescue a sweet furbaby. Have a great day!
Hi Denise, I was worried for a little while that the call was too late to save him but we were in time and his life was spared. Woo Hoo is right and am so happy for him. Thank you for your on-going support.
Thanks for sharing your story and thanks so much for saving this pet that will bring much pleasure to his next family.
Oh, Judith--I knew I had another SISTER out there somewhere! One who can't pass up a "hairy face", especially one in need...I just love ya for this and all of the "Big Hearted" things you do! (I'm sure we only hear about a small amount, as I would think you're not someone who toots their own horn a lot).
Bless you! (And Roy chose a perfectly colored flower for you).
Hi Roy, thank you for your kind words and the beautiful flower. I am sure his next chance at a family will be his best. He deserved a second chance to have a real life.
Hi Gayle, my heart aches when I read the stories of so many beautiful animals in need and when I know that their due date for death is arriving it kills me. Their little hairy faces call out for help and it is so nice to know that I have a SISTER in Oregon that feels the same way. It may be only one save at a time but it is better than no save. Bless you for caring!
Name the lab Lucky because that is just what he is! Lucky you took the time to look up the rescue and that they took immediate action. Hope this sweeetie finds the perfect home soon!
Hi Connie, I agree...he is lucky for so few make it out of high kill facilities. It makes a heart feel good to know that you saved a life. This rescue group is great and I know they will find him the perfect home. Have a great week-end!
Judith, What a wonderful ending to this story. Kudos to you on a job well done! You have a good heart, and I'm glad we're friends. Stay safe this weekend.
Hi Elyse, it is good to have a happy ending when it comes to shelters and rescues. Beau is safe and I am happy as well as relieved. Thank you for your kind words and am glad that we are friends. Enjoy your week-end!
Hi Rene, my eyes filled with tears when I saw this sweet boy and saw that he was on limited time. I had to do something and it all worked out well for him. Thank you for your very kind words of support. It means so much to me.
What a heartwarming story. Thank goodness for Beau (perfect name for such a handsome lad) that you were able to save his life. Now let's hope he finds a loving family too.
Hi Maureen, I know he is going to find the perfect home that will love him as he should be loved. Thanks for your comment and have a great Sunday!
