ActiveRain Meetup in the Triangle September 7th 3-5 PM... AND YOU'RE INVITED!
So looking forward to the Triangle's first ActiveRain Meetup! Spread the word and RSVP! September 7th 3-5 at the Chatham Hill Winery. I'll be there with bells on!
It’s official! The Triangle’s first ActiveRain MeetUp is scheduled for September 7th, 3-5 pm at the Chatham Hill Winery, 3800 Gateway Centre Blvd, #310, Cary/Morrisville, NC 27560
As I wrote yesterday I'd first heard about the winery from Dick Betts some time ago, and couldn't imagine that WE had one here. Then I got to thinking what a terrific place to hold our first area AR Meetup.
We know that here in the Triangle we encompass Chapel Hill, Durham, Raleigh, Cary, Apex, Holly Spring, Fuquay, Wake Forest and more... so I really wanted the location to be more centralized and easy to get to. I’m hoping that our Johnston County members will mosey on over too! Who knows maybe we can entice our coastal Rainer/bloggers to come inland for a visit!
So what’s the plan? Come and meet your fellow Rainers in person. Bring a laptop or iPad if you’d like as they do have wi-fi. Bring your best AR stories, questions, and successes as well.
It will be a great opportunity to meet the Triangles TOP NC AR bloggers like none other than Mike Jaquish, Craig Rutman, and Leesa Finley. A time to find out just how they use ActiveRain and blogging to enhance their business!There'll be addicted bloggers and newbies and from all walks of our industry ~ stagers, builders, home inspectors, realtors®, lenders, and more!
We’ll make it a casual event- come by yourself, invite a few friends that may be curious about our neat AR community, or fill a van with anyone you know!What to expect; folks can come and go in the Tasting Room as they please- bottles or glasses of wine may be purchased. Most of their glasses run $6/ea. Local cheeses and crackers and other snacks may be purchased for nibbling. You can opt to do the Wine Tasting- the fee is $8.00pp plus tax (they have two flights to choose from, a Sweet Carolina flight and our Dry Varietal), this includes the souvenir wine glass.
Let’s show them how we do things here in the south and make this the LARGEST meetUp that AR has seen - I’ll bet we could get the folks at AR to toss in a few extra points for the largest hosted MeetUp group!Oh...and speaking of points - remember everyone that attends a MeetUp gets an additional 1,500 POINTS...
**But of course we don’t do this for the points
So come and enjoy the aroma and flavor of fine wine, good conversation, and a chance to meet others on their blogging journey. And who knows... there maybe some other surprises awaiting you if do..

From NC-54 (in Cary), turn right at Aviation Parkway towards RDU Airport.
