You don’t have to be a Boy Scout to grab a life jacket and get into a canoe.  Bond Park would love to teach anyone interested in learning!  Grab a group of 3 to 6 people and head to the Boathouse at Bond Park.  This would be perfect for families planning an outing in the woods or for your Boy Scouts looking for their canoeing merit badges.  The class is a minimum of three hours, so plan on spending most of your morning or afternoon out on the water.  To schedule your class or get more information please call (919) 469-4100.  The Bond Park Boathouse is located at 197 Bond Park Drive.  Try something new this summer before the kids go away to college, work consumes you, or you spend all your free time doing whatever else needs to be done around the house.  Have some fun before falling back into the same old routine.
