I have often heard of Wolftrap - we have a similar venue here called Ravinia.  You can buy tickets for the covered area - but the great majority of people buy lawn tickets, bring food and wine, and sit back to enjoy the music.

Thanks for reminding me of a great night at Wolftrap. I believe it was the Washington Symphony Orchestra with Kathy Matea, but it's been a few years lol  Great place to visit & hear some good music.

Karen - thanks for stopping by and sharing. It is interesting to look back and remember those dating years. A concert like this does bring back memories.

Margaret - my son often goes to Ravinia. He loves the lawn seats and great music.

Tara, I do try and keep up on the many events around the greater Washington DC area. In fact, I've written many posts throughout the summer about events like the one in this post. We love having Wolftrap in Vienna. It is a great place to enjoy dinner on the lawn and/or seats in the house.

Coldwell Banker Commerical - So how many years has it been since the Washington Symphony Orchestra with Kathy Matea? Thanks for sharing.

Thanks to everyone who stopped by today.
