Recently The Famed Tennessee Women's Basketball Coach "Pat Summitt" was diagnosed with "early onset Dementia...Alzheimer's type". I just wanted to take a moment and ask that your prayers be with all of those who have this terrible disease.. It's not that it's more important because she has it...it's the fact that she has it that it brings more attention and sympathy to all who are afflicted by it!
So no matter who your allegiance is to, PLEASE take a moment and pray for all those around us who suffer from this crippling disease!

Good post, Rob. Many of us have friends, family members and neighbors that are experiencing dementia.
I am not getting the photograph in your blog. I did see pictures in the newspaper.
Rob-having lost my mother to this crippling disease I understand the long road that Pat, her family and friends face. It is heartbreaking to watch someone you love lose themselves and their memories.
Rob - it's a dreaded disease that deserves more Research. It could happen to anyone.
Excellent reminder to pray for the people and their family members impacted by Dementia and/or Alzheimers. Also pray for a CURE!
Good morning Rob,
It is a crippling disease and the road will be difficult for Pat and the family. They and others suffering from this dreaded disease will be in my thoughts and prayers. Sherri I'm sorry to hear about your dad and will be praying for you and your family. You know first hand how this disease impacts a family.
Rob- so sorry to hear your friend has this debilitating and crippling disease. I will keep her in my prayers and it reminds us all who are healthy to count our blessings and never take it for granted because you never know....
Rob - Eveyone in Tennessee knows how tough she is, and if toughess matters, she will hold her own, but the odds are not in her favor.
Hi Rob - Such a tough illness at any age but 59 is way too soon. She needs our prayers.
