Colorado RockiesYou may think the Rockies were lucky to get a shot at the Wildcard spot in the playoffs.  You may think they were lucky to beat the Padres to be the Wildcard team.  You can even argue that they were lucky to sweep two great teams to get to the World Series, but come on, who is that lucky?

It's all come together for the Rockies as of late.  The team is not just relying on the bats or the defense or the pitching.  They have evolved into the complete package.  The critics won't be silenced until the Rockies prove it in the World Series.  But that's okay.  The Sox are headed for the hamper!

All right, we all know that real estate is a rather "faith based business..." but if we're going to have faith again...it should be the right kind. My son is torn. He's a native Colorado-an, but Tom and I are from Boston and there's NOTHING like a Red Sox Game. We are going to win again. No doubt. Sox rule.

 WE BELIEVE AGAIN!!!

Meredith don't bet your Rockie Mountains on that one!LOL The Rockies are good....but this is still a team that was only 76-72 through Sept 15th in the woeful National League.Granted..they got hot...but they weren't exactly playing the RedSox,Yankees,Indians or Angels....We shall see!

BLR Guy you are wrong! The Rocks were playing the Yankees and the Sox.  Swept the Yanks and beat the Sox.  The Indians practically gave the WS to the Sox with their horrible play in those last three games.

Sorry Lania, you are going to lose.  Hopefully you won't lose your faith too.

And what can I say to Joe and Jason?  Right On!  GO ROCKIES!

i am going to go with Meredith on this one and stay true to the National League West (fyi I am a LA dodgers fan )

Teams that go into the playoffs on fire tend to win it all. Remember the 2003 Marlins , 2002 Angels and last years Cardinals?

Sounds like you know what you are talking about Eddy.  Hopefully the 8 days off doesn't hurt the Rockies fire.

The weather forecast is saying no snow in Denver, hopefully they are right this time.  You Red Sox fans sure are die hards, I'll give you that.  But you need more than that to beat the Rockies this year!    :P

Meredith,I couldn't disagree with you more....3 games against both teams during season does not mean much....if they own Beckett and Schilling over the next 2 starts they have..then Ok.....

Nothing was given to Boston....they earned it.....I think some Rockies fans might be getting ready for a rude awakening.....we shall see!

I agree, Eddy, the regular season is too long and most games don't mean anything when they're played so it's hard to get too excited about those. I am excited for the WS to begin too!

Stephen - Yup, GO ROCKIES!

BLR Guy - You are right, 3 games doesn't mean much.  They did own Beckett in that series though!  The Rockies outscored your Sox something like 20 to 5, it weighed heavily on the side of the Rockies.  I should add that they played in June, before they "got hot."

But like you said, "...we shall see!"

Well they didn't own Beckett last night!;) I do like that Rockie offense though...but good pitching does usually shut down good hitting.

I am actually looking forward to seeing Ubaldo tonight....throwing 100mph on a cold night can't be much fun to hit....

Go Sawx!

O.K. before all you Sox fans start celebrating it isn't over yet. Consider this, young players and the "World Series Jitters"! Tonight will be the true test, either these kids will shake it off and play ball like they have been or it's going to be a long four games for Rockies fans. All I can say is I hope the Rockies character comes out tonight.

Well, it is looking like it could be another win for the Sox and getting closer to the end. We shall see what the Rockies are able to come up with. Dice K is looking very good and the Rockies hitters look like they don't know what to do.

Okay, the Sox are up 3-0 but game 3 wasn't a choke for the Rocks, just another off night  LOL.  The fat lady might be warming up her vocal cords but she isn't singing yet.  We are still standing behind out Rockies here in Colorado!

It's going to be interesting to see what the outcome of tonight's game will be...it could just possibly be a SWEEP or the winning game will be held at Fenway! We'll all know in the next few hours :)

No matter what, the Rockies played very well at the end of the season and then in the playoffs. You should be proud of your team.

GO SOX!
