Every 1st and 3rd Thursday of each month we hold a free seminar at our offices to explain how investors can use our private funding to purchase distressed houses. Usually we don't even fill the room but the last couple meetings have been at and over our seating capacity. The last seminar went much longer than usual because of the interesting questions posed by several people about the local real estate market and borrowing process but we kept going beyond our 1 hour limit and everyone thought it was well worth the time, especially one person.
A big thank you to one of our seminar attendees who unexpectedly sent us a couple of gift cards in appreciation for extra time spent talking with him. This is what he had to say:

That was a 1st for us, in fact I've never had that happen before in my 25 years in this business. Don't get me wrong, I've received many "thank you" cards and letters, but a gift card? That was an extremely kind gesture and the next seminar will have cookies compliments of our appreciative attendee!
