16 Comments on These Sunflower Pictures Came Out Really Nice, And I Thought I Would Share Them
Hi Debbie,
Beatiful flowers. You must have a green thumb if all your vegetables are so plentiful. Here in Southern CA it gets so hot that a lot of vegetables die off in the heat. How wonderful of you to share them with a nice restaurant so they can make nice salads.
Debbie, your sunflower pictures are beautiful! Wish my garden were doing as well as yours!! We are ready for some heat relief!!
Thank you for your nice comments, Kristin. I consider it an honor the restaurant uses them. We are also canning sauces and relishes.
Thank, Sonja. It's been really hot here, too. Upper 90s, but you guys get even hotter. This year we had a lot of humidity and I think that really gave the garden a boost. Usually we are so dry.
Nice and peaceful looking pictures. Its been hotter than usuall here. We have been close to 70 latley.
Debbie, sunflowers are among my favorite! Yours are just beautiful! Thanks for the reminder of mother nature's beauty - we need it today since we see nothing but a very angry storm.
Rob, 70's for us means that fall is on the way. We won't be seeing that for our highs for several weeks yet.
My thoughts and prayers are with you, Andrea. How bad is it suppose to get in your area? I have relatives in DC and Maryland. They called earlier today to say they are getting ready for the storm.
Debbie, those photos are awesome and I like the soft view of the Mountains. I love to go to the mountains, was born in Denver and now I visit my daughter in Tennessee. Mountains rule and right now this Irene is trying to control the east coast. Send my photos...very peaceful to look out.
Bud and Beth...If you ever come to Colorado, give me a call. I love playing tourguide. Thanks for your nice comments.
Hi Debbie, the sunflowers look terrific with the mountains as a background. Congrats on that tomato crop too! That's one thing I miss - growing fresh tomatoes and having so many that you have to give them away! :-)
Debbie, one of my favorite flowers is the sunflower. Beautiful photo!
You always come up with glorious pictures. The views are great too. Check out my new blog it is amusing.
These grow like weeds in Texas... then there are the giant sunflowers crops that are grown down here. The site is just beautiful!
Thanks everyone for your nice comments. This picture has been begging for me to take it. About 8 years ago, we grew sunflowers. Now I guess they are here to stay.
They make a very cheery backdrop for your blog posts, Debbie. Nicely done.
You are the best realtor of the best brokerage in Cedaredge Colorado, Debbie Laity. Keep those posts coming.
