I'm listing this property, the owner said " It has a view from a two story home"  so, I go 33 miles out North Kenai Spur Hwy Nikiski Alaska to get to this place, but the two story home is not there, just a big tree, so I park my truck next to the big tree climb on top of the truck and proceed to climb this big tree with a large telephoto camera. Now, that's dedication! I did get a great shot of the Inlet from the tree but, haven't sold the property yet! I wonder why? I did post that the picture was from a very large tree and taken with a telephoto lens, do you suppose no-one wanted to climb a tree?  I want to assure everyone that I posted the picture but, that I also said that the picture was from a very large tree taken with a telephoto lense, the picture is there, and so is the picture of the tree!

Ok Brandy...I hate that! :-) Even though you may be a really nice person...nobody likes to take a long jaunt to look at nothing. I remember years ago I showed a lovely home in a Community here in Colorado Springs called Mountain Shadows. The MLS photos were of panoramic mountain views, but even from the second story of the home...nothing. I was livid and standing there with my Buyers who gave me specific instructions that they MUST have a view, I called the Lister from my cell. He said, "I took those photos on the ROOF." Roof does rhyme with goof...

Recently, I lost a listing to a local heavy hitter. I had done all I could to sell it. Open houses with food, print and web ads...you name it. They felt they needed a "fresh perspective" so I look up the listing and it has...you guessed it, PANORAMIC MOUNTAIN VIEWS that couldn't even be taken from the roof. Apparently, the views of the mountains through a telephoto lens in the park UP THE STREET are now passing.

My staunch opinion...NO FAKE PHOTOS!
