Wordless Wednesday (almost!): Bloomin' onions they are!

Wordless Wednesday (almost!): Bloomin' onions they are!

Small delicate clusters sitting atop long stalks crowd together to create individual bouquets. With a mere glance, a blossom can lift the spirits and lighten the mood. And true beauty is seen in the eyes of the observer, no matter an onion or iris, nature's offerings are to be appreciated.

Happy Bloomin' Wednesday!

Hi there Wanda-nice photo and I completly agree! We use society garlic (similar looking to your onion plant) here as an accent landscape plant and I think it is beautiful!

Hi Wanda, Did not know they were onion blooms!  Thanks.  Delicate looking flowers too.

Do they have an aroma?

They are pretty, you'd never think they were onions Ted!

Gloria, They do have a slight smell but if you break the stems, then you get a pungent onion odor.

Craig, I don't get out much as it is Craig so it doesn't take much to entertain me or grab my attention the way nature does!
