Branson MO is a nice place to visit...

Everyone needs to take off for a short time and just be with friends and visit another town.  I have just returned from Branson Missouri after a two night stay there.  Branson appears to be the vacation mecca of the South if you don't want to gamble.  It has so many shows to choose from, all wholesome and family oriented.

Each time we visit we come back amazed at the number of hotels, apartments, theaters and shopping areas that have been put up.  This time we saw the Titanic sitting there at rest and waiting for visitors.  I also don't remember earlier seeing the airplane on top of an attraction on the main strip.  One of our friends commented on the HUGE roller coaster that appears to have been built from all wood.  Lots of miniature golf courses are available and other attractions for the young people.

Unfortunately the hotel we stayed in had no computer access for a guest to check email or messages.  So be sure if you are going up there to check for internet/computer access at your hotel of choice or you'll be lost like I was.  I had a lot of stress trying to figure out the best way to stay in touch with clients and make sure my chores got done.

It is nice to be back home!

I visited Branson twice in the last couple of years. I am amazed by the amount of investment there.

I have no been to Branson in twenty years.  I thought it was wonderful.  We went to Silver Dollar City.  My oldest child was small enough to still be in a stroller.  We went through the cave.  They should have told us that people with a small child and a stroller and a diaper bag should not go on that particular adventure.  We practically crawled through that cave with a baby, a baby stroller and a big bag.

Vicki, I also went to the Silver Dollar City cave years and years ago with children.  It is still a highlight in my life and my children's lives.  That cave was the best because of going in one end and out another and having to lug kids through tight spots.  Blanchard Springs is not as good, in my opinion, because we went in and came out the same way.  Kids love caves!
