I've Been Blogging for a Week... And Nothings Happened
I get calls and e-mails from would-be clients who have been reading my blogs for MONTHS...I have never heard from them before; however, they now KNOW me and they want to work with me....I enjoy blogging and I am getting business - how much FUN is THAT?
I've Been Blogging for a Week... And Nothings Happened
As is often the case after the "I have no time for that blogging stuff" excuse, and " nobody is gonna read what I have to say" comes,"I've been blogging like you said and nothings happened" Conventional wisdom will tell us that most things worth doing take time, however with blogging I have seen new bloggers find a sweet spot and get big time recognition right off the bat. That is not the norm however.
Blogging takes time and a key word in any blogging campaign is consistency, consistency, consistency, and while "content is king", you don't have to put out a literary classic each time. All too often I see and hear from new bloggers that they stopped blogging because they didn't feel what they were writing was good enough. Hog wash, we all started in the same place, and if you take advantage of the tools that AR makes available, you'll be hooked and seeing results in no time.
Think of it like this:
Rule # 1...Start, throw all the doubt and fear out the window and start
Rule # 2...Consistency, consistency, and consistency
Rule #3...Content is King, but that doesn't mean Steven King has to write it.
Consistency is so important because you have to feed those website crawlers hunger, they are constantly out looking for fresh content to devour.
Don't believe people aren't reading what is posted on the web, the proof is in the pudding as they say. I posted a blog about the outstanding job Dominos Pizza is doing with their social media management just the other day, and received this note arrive yesterday. Made my day.My point people is take the Nike logo to heart and "JUST DO IT"
