Last week I posted an article about the amount of clients that I get relocating to the Kansas City area. A great deal of the business I get for this is through on-line advertising and targeted relationships I've cultivated, but this last week when I posted on the Active Rain community I was actually very surprised at the number of phone calls and emails I received from other agents that have clients to refer to me.
I enjoy bogging and reading on Active Rain, but I guess I never thought about using it as a vehicle for this type of referral business. I always try to help my clients that are moving to another city by referring a great agent to them for the city they're moving to, but now I'll consider finding these agents on this network.
To all the agents that called me last week, I just wanted to say thank you. It means a lot to me to have the opportunity to work with your clients and I look forward to paying you for this wonderful privilege.
