It is a September 30 day Localism Challenge at Active Rain......

During the past year many of us have taken part in some or all of the 30 day Challenges...

 

Participating in the challenges keeps us on track and helps to create consistency in our blogging.  

To spice it up a bit we have put together a bit of a different challenge for September....

We all know SEO is important and Vital to our Real Estate Business...

 

One of the easier ways to become more recognized in your community is to do Localism Blogs!  

For the 30 Days in September the Challenge is to do a  Blog every single day....But the real Challenge will be that at least 20 days your  blog posts be Hyper Local Blogs. 

The topics can  most likely be some thing you already blog about. 

You can choose how you want to structure your blogs....

What about Blogging about a listing you have.

 

Maybe you will highlight different subdivisions or communities

Or create a Things to Do blogs for your area....

It can even include Market Stats for your area.   

 

We can get real creative and interview and write a blog about local business in the area....long time businesses or new businesses.

We realize this may stretch for some who don't typically write Localism types of blogs....but you will be rewarded.

 

For posting a Hyper Local/Localism post about your area 20 of the  30 days and posting a blog every single day you will receive 3000 bonus points. 

 

You must post every single day to be eligible.  

 

We ask that you don't cheat and create a "generic" post and point it to your area....such as "keeping rain gutters clean in Small Town USA" or "Clearing the Clutter in your home in such and such USA.....this must be original content that really tells the consumers about your area.  True Localism Posts!  

 

Photos are encouraged as well as Video....

 

It isn't only for the bonus points...it is to help all of us get into the habit of posting SEO Rich Content about the areas we serve....Lets have fun with this Challenge.  

 

I will create a group in order to keep track of our posts....

but at the end of the challenge you will need to send our

own Kerrie Greenhalgh a note to let her know

you completed the challenge.

(The Hyper Local Blogs can not be ALL Market Stats, Or ALL Listings...Please do the right thing and Blog a variety of Hyper Local Topics)
