How do you measure success?

Richard, very well said. I will base my success on my standards. Not those of others imposed upon me.

If I set goals and meet them then I judge it to be a sucess. goals differ from person to person. but achieving them is a constant . And achieving is sucess to me

I measure success because that's how I live. I measure success by how many lives I've touched. That's what matters to me most.

Richard, so often people get caught up in 'material' success and forget about 'life long' success...

Everyone has something meaninful to them and it's not the same for everybody.

Richard, success is measured by the respect of one's peers and customers and accomplishments that one has performed.  The money helps also.  But, I don't believe that one can continue to make money without the first two.

some would say one is successful if they can call themselves a realtor in this market, LOL, but I am doing well the last few yrs especially....success to me is happiness...I have a great hubby, family, kitties, what more do I need?

Hi Richard....great post....we don't measure our success....I think it's measured by others whose lives we have touched.....when we do a good job, we're rewarded.

Richard, success is always in the eye of the beholder I believe...whether it is by our faith, business, love, etc.

These are all success ranges, but for me it is getting something done when I am told it CAN'T be done.

Success today and what I consider success in five years are different things but have one common characteristic - I, myself, will determine whether I achieve it!
