How do you measure success? There are as many answers to that question as there are respondents to the inquiry.
Is it measured by money? If that is the case, then a lottery winner can become successful overnight.
Is it measured by awards? While awards may connote recognition or achievement, they do not always reflect success. Many an award winner has struggled while attempting to reconcile notoriety with success.
Is it measured by production numbers? While tangible statistics offer an indicator of actual production, it does not necessarily coincide with success. Many top producers find themselves victims of their own tunnel-vision and drive, leaving precious little time for anything not related to work.
Because just as production, achievement and notoriety can be accurately measured, success is subjective and can only be qualified on an individual basis.
We all set our own standard for success. And we are responsible only to ourselves in determining whether or not we have met or exceeded the mark.
And as our own judge and jury, our decision is final!
