In case you haven’t seen the latest news on property tax for Maricopa County, here’s a recap.  Maricopa County raised property taxes a whopping .19 cents per $100 of the net assessed value (from $1.05 to $1.24) to offset the decreasing property values. And even with that increase, most districts are going to collect less due to the decline in home values.  If you live in Maricopa County, you will be getting your property tax bills any day now and most homeowners can expect to owe less than they did last year.  A bitter sweet but definitely overdue scenario.
