Study Your Competition

It's easy to look at the top agents and think you get "how" they do it - but usually there are specific steps and marketing processes you do not see at first glance.

One of the best methods to dig beneath the surface is to participate in your competitors' marketing - get on their prospect lists, talk to them over the phone and listen to their pitch, etc.

I am amazed at how little agents know what their competitors are doing. I don't care how you do it - but make it a challenge to learn every thing about the agents who are doing deals. The magic is not always in re-inventing the wheel but often just learning what is already working and finding your own application to it for your own business.

You are right.    Watch the successful realtors in your area and see what you could do to improve your services.  We each learn so much from each other.
