HELP!!
My first ever computer was the “BIG LISA” desktop.
Then there was that thing that looked like it belonged on the head of an alien from outer space?
Soon after I graduated to the Powerbook 100 and thought I’d died and gone to heaven. You know The one with that funny little ball that took the place of a ? It was in 1994 just before the Northridge Earthquake.
As a general contractor it was a boon to my business as I was able to plug the charger into my cigarette lighter, sit in my truck, type out an entire estimate, print it out and hand it directly to the insurance adjuster right on the spot.
All the while most of the other contractors were using those cumbersome yellow lined tablets
and then would have to drudge back to their offices with piles of estimates, have their secretaries type them up and send them out mail to the insurance adjusters and hope that they didn't get any of them mixed up in the translation.
Then came my AUTO CAD classes and alas, I had to switch to a PC because Apple didn’t offer CAD at that time.
Having been though no less than 3 PC laptops and 2 NON desktops I’m finally going to acquiesce to the pressures of all my family members who are tried and true APPLE devotees. Not to mention the fact that I’ve done quite well $$ with APPLE stock.
Moving on..........Now, as a soon to retire general contractor and an up and coming Real Estate Broker with a promising future and frustrated many times over PC owner, I’m once again in the hunt for the,
BEST
BANG For The $BUCK$, for the Real Estate niche.
So please feel free to enlighten me with your knowledge and wisdom.
