The Academy School District 20 Real Estate Market - August 2011
The sales in Academy School District 20 remained steady from July to August. We saw a slight increase in average sales price of 2.5% and an equivalent decrease in median sales price. Number of active listings in Academy School District 20 dropped 4% and the number of new listings dropped 10%. From August of 2010, the average sales price is up 3.5% and median is down 2%. Days on market jumped 15% and number of active listings are down 27% from one year ago. If you recall, June 2010 was the end of the tax credit, so the increase in listings may be a carry over for sellers trying to take advantage of that program.
