The Girl Scouts will celebrate its centennial in 2012.  Pearland Girls from Kindergarten through Seniors in High School are welcome to join this fantastic organization.  Here are the times:

1.  Grades 4-12 will be at 9:30am

2.  Grades Kindergarten - 1st will be at 11:00am

3.    Grades 2nd and 3rd will be at 1:30pm

The Eligible Schools are Challenger Elem., Massey Ranch Elem., Silvercrest Elem., Silverlake Elem., Rogers Middle School,, Berry Miller Jr. High and Dawson High School.

The Girl Scouts activities help girls to become strong and confident!  And, the 700 million Girl Scout Cookie Program is the largest based Girl-led business in the country.

I always wanted to be a girl scout. My best friend at the time was a Red Robin or was it a Blue Bird? I can't remember. Both my daughters were girls scouts and my husband enjoyed the program so much! Yeah that is right he would have been a leader if he could of.... of course being an all girl organization; I was the one camping out in freezing weather. But all in all it was a lot of fun.

This will be my last post tonight as the site has been so extra slow to day and even more so tonight!

Congratulations to the Girl Scouts for reaching their Centennial in 2012. I'm sure my daughter (only 2.5 yrs old now), will want to be a Girl Scout one day. I would really like to reach in that picture and grab one of those cookies. :)
