Back to School Time in Nampa Idaho....School Supplies Needed

It is back to school time in Nampa Idaho....School Supplies Nampa IDaho

and most of our youngsters have already started the school year! 

There was a frenzy to get the back packs filled for all of our own kids...

But now I would like to recommend is to help some of the needy kids with school supplies...

Talking to the Nampa Salvation Army and LOVE INC

they have mentioned that students are all ok now for school supplies...

 

However mid year they will start needing some replacements..

How about filling up the back up shelves at LOVE INC and Salvation Army Nampa with extra supplies.,

Now the sales are going on for school supplies...

 

How about if you throw a few extra supplies in your cart such as:

 

Crayons

Pencils

Glue

Rulers

Pencil Boxes

Protractors

Pink Erasers

Loose Notebook Paper

Spiral Notebooks

Notebooks

Portfolios

Many children will thank you for allowing them to have shiny new supplies!

Deborah, it is sad so many school districts need supplies - so we do need to step up!

Joan...it sure is!    So very sad the amount of need!   I don't have kids to buy for but always stock up on the sales to help out!

I need to do one of these posts myself.  So many school supplies are needed and now after the storm things are even worse off.  Great localism post Deb!

Hi Deborah,

Our school district supplies all the back to school items for the children at the elementary level.  Now that my kids are older, I have had to buy the right calculator (which isn't cheap) and binders, but that is about it.  The school even provides planners every year right up to graduation.  In our district, any parent who wants to help, needs to give supplies or a gift card to the teacher for classroom supplies.  I am grateful but know it will end as the budgets become tighter.

Wow...that actualy is a really good idea!!  then all have the same everything!   But you are right...in tight budgets things may change!
