If you're gonna spam me, can you please use English?

Spam.  From a canned meat to unwanted emails.  Either way, it's not a positive image for me.

And we get it all the time.  I know you do, if you have an email address.

But this is something I've never seen.  Uusually there is the urgent plea for money to help them to put all their money in my bank account, or some products dealing with the more intimate details of what goes on in the dark.

But this one, well, I don't know what it's about.  BECAUSE I CAN'T READ IT!  It's in another language!

I assume Chinese, so let me know if you can translate it for me.  I can tell it's about some SEO stuff, but that's it.

And of course, don't click on any links contained in the spam.  I'm not sure if they're edible or not.

International spam, the best flavor

Jeremy, now that is a good topic for discussion, spam.  Yes we all get spamed, however should we even be concerned about it or just ignore and delete?  If I don't know you and you send me something to read via email, I probably will not even give it a look because it is probably spam.

Good one, Jeremy!  My first clue something's Spam?  "Dear one..."  or "Dearest..."

Spam in any language is still spam, though maybe a little more exotic and amusing before hitting delete!

Stephen, I usually just give a quick glance to make sure a customer's email isn't in the spam folder.  But certainly not long looks.  This one caught my eye, because even the title isn't in English!  :)

Julia, exactly.  If they don't know my name, they don't know me!  Thanks for stopping by!

Diane, exactly!   Google did recognize it as spam, and it was a little amusing before I sent it to the trash.  :)

I've been hunting a lot of SPAM lately and have yet to see that.  You're right, of course, if you're gonna try to sucker me into buying something, make sure I can read it!

Bryan, exactly!  I guess they're looking specifically to snooker only people in the US that can read Chinese.  That's certainly limiting your ability to hook someone in!  :)

Hi Jeremy - you might want to check that one out before you delete it - if I remember my Chinese correctly, you may have come into quite a bit of money.

I get spam daily in Chinese, along with help me move money from Africa.

Hello Jeremy,

Thanks for the post. Very Enjoyable headline:) Like Donald #11, I too have received this type of spam a few times in the past. Not very much... about 2 times a year. The messages that I have received seem to come from overseas. I basically delete and move on.

Hi Jeremy, My last name is Leng, so I get Chinese spam quite regularly. I should learn Mandarin. Maybe I am being offered something valuable? Maybe someone died and left me a fortune? Thanks Phil

Dick, too late, I deleted it!  But I'll sure know better next time.  :)

Donald, I don't get them daily, but I was getting the Africa money requests before.  They seem to have given up on me though.

Isn't it, Debbie?

Robert, I think we all must at some point or another.

Dave, thanks for chiming in.  It's always good to have a local friend provide me with a great spam example.  :)

Phil, all of that is possible in the world of spam!  It's up to you to find out what it can do for you!  :D

Even more ironic is that my anti-spam graphic is "quandong".  Sounds like a mix of Chinese, no?

Okay, now I'm in the know and glad I read this. I've never gotten the Chinese spam, but we used to get instruction sheets in the camping equipment which had obviously been translated badly from the Chinese.

Mona, glad to do my public service announcement to help.

And bad translations, I call that "Engrish".  I think there are websites dedicated to that term, that show some of the funny translations.
