Holiday weekend feelings in Sandy UT
Excitement in the air.
Afternoon traffic has intensity and purpose - more than the usual number of trailers and motor homes on the road and suuee-ee-zing into gas stations with the hesitancy of having not been driven for a while.
An holiday is in the offing.
More than the usual number of shoppers in supermarkets - snack foods seem a necessity, but any food is fair game.
Even temperature have declined a little, promising a beautiful holiday weekend in Sandy UT. Perhaps Fall is not too far off.
I harp on local feelings, because that is where I shall be - some of us have to work. Two all-nighters will take care of a large part of my weekend. Not that I complain ~ I get to meet a lot of visitors from other parts as they visit my city (some even looking to relocate here).
A must see:
Sandy Museum (It's in Historic Sandy)
8744S 100E (off Center Street) Sandy UT 84070
Poke in and around the Museum location to see examples of early Sandy architecture. Historic homes have a plaque near the front door.

A happy holiday weekend to all.
