Dog Days of Summer,,, Labor Day Weekend Event at Soldier Hollow.
I love dogs, cats and all animals. When I was a kid I dreamed of owning a lot of land and rescuing animals. I would have become a vet, but the thought of the sad parts that are associated with the job lead me down a different path. Ok so enough about me on to the news...........
This Labor Day Weekend at Soldier Hollow is a huge Sheepdog Competition. The winner can walk away with $25,000 + !!! The event is going on now thru September 5th. The dogs must compete and show how atheletic they are. The must leap, pace, bark, they will work together with their owner to herd Utah wild-range sheep.
Other events mentioned: American Dock Diving Dogs Competition, Best Dressed and Ugly Mutt Competition, K-9 hero of the year award. Dogs and their owners from all over the world will be at this event.
