Fine Dining in Hernando Beach, Florida - Brian's Place
Last night my husband and I decided to have dinner at Brian's Place in Hernando Beach, Florida. Brian's Place is one of our local restaurants in Hernando Beach. Well known and popular as a great breakfast and lunch place, we've had both there many times.
Casual during the day, Brian's Place turns into a fine dining experience at night! While guests are dressed any way they like, the restaurant is stylishly decked out in black and white with some colorful touches inspired by a combination of Spanish and Italian influences and the work of various local artists.
The dinner menu was quite extensive and accompanied by an excellent wine card. In addition to numerous starters and salads, entrees include pastas and risottos, and anything from chicken to seafood to steaks.
With delicious sounding dishes such as Prosciutto and Basil Wrapped Chicken, Brian's Crab Enchilada, or Chipotle Sesame Seared Yellow Fin Tuna, deciding on one dish is not an easy task.
My husband ordered the Italian Mojo Grilled Flat Iron Steak that was accompanied by Pecorino Onion Rings and Tortellini tossed in a Caper-red Pepper cream with Asiago while I had the Grilled Chicken with Manchego Cheese served over Safron yellow rice, sauteed spinach and a plantain cream.
Our meals started out with a delicious salad and hot bread. When the entrees arrived, they truly looked like a work of art!
Chef Brian is a master in the kitchen but does not miss to personally greet each of his guests in the dining room.

Brian's Place serves dinner Tuesday to Saturday from 5 PM to 9 PM. On weekends, you may want to call ahead for reservation to ensure your table.
