1 home sold for over $1million (waterfront Narragansett home)
4 homes sold over $400,000
5 homes sold for between $300,000-$400,000
2 homes sold for under $300,000
There were 243 Narragansett homes for sale in August 2011 which was a 5 % increase over July (12 additional homes for sale). Certainly the choices of homes in all price ranges are there for interested buyers. In the higher priced homes over $1 million, the Narragansett home inventory is at 39.

Honestly, the sales were in the under $300,000- $400,000 category this past month which means that if the location, condition and price for a home is right it will be SOLD. Sales decreased by 4 homes sold over the prior month which was surprising in this waterfront and beach community.

August's pending home sales were equal to July 2011 - 21 homes in pending status in Narragansett RI. It is still a buyers market with the market absorption rate at 11 months to sell just the current homes on the market.
