Ruvens Deli in Delray Beach - a Taste of New York in Palm Beach County

Ruvens Deli located on Jog Road just north of Lake Ida Road in the San Marco Plaza is a welcome addition for residents looking for a local Kosher Style Deli.

Ruvens

Since moving back to Delray Beach, we've seen several different attempts to turn this into a successful local deli, but I think Steve Ratinetz has every opportunity to make this just what this area needs.  Residents in the area love to eat out, but they expect good service and good food.  Steve owned such a deli on Long Island and many residents returned when Ruvens opened because its reputation.

We love it as our treat after our morning walk at Green Cay.  How can you beat a breakfast special that includes eggs, bagel or toast, and additional side of oatmeal, grits, or potatoes, AND coffee for under $3.00!  Everything is fresh and it's one of the few places I've been able to find that makes grits good enough for this Texas gal to eat!

I understand lunch and dinner can get busy but they have the room to take care of everyone!  There's even a large area in the back for groups or organizations to have private meetings.  Great for Breakfast or lunch networking functions!

Sounds like a really great place to grab a bite - especially breakfast. When my son was a policeman in Palm Beach County, we used to stop by some really great food spots over near Wellington!

Kathy, A full breakfast for under $3.00? And good food too. Haven't seen that sort of pricing since the 1960s. That sounds like a treat.

Dorie- can you believe under $3.00!  Coffee alone in most places is $2.00!

Barbara- Much as I love a good pastrami sandwich... it's a little too early for me as well.

Kim- Are you a snowbird?  Give me a buzz when you're in town.

Marco- Do you think they named the plaza after the one and only Marco!! The rye bread there is excellent.

BARFF- Oh good! I can't wait... don't book yet til we coordinate schedules!!!!!

Gary- Wellington has grown so much since we first moved here in '87.  They have a nice mall and yes.... so many restaurants.

Michael- I have no idea how they do it!  Thank goodness the grits are good.

Joanna- we'd better walk at Green Cay after eating that!!!!

Gabe- When you come down, don't forget Atlantic Avenue in Delray .... I love it!

Wayne- It's better to get the breakfast special... I'd pay more if I ordered coffee and toast.
