The Dallas, TX luxury market makes upward strides in sales for the period of August 1, 2011 through August 31, 2011 as compared with the same period last year.

For homes priced at $1,000,000.00 or higher in Dallas, TX there were a total of sixteen reported in the MLS (Multiple Listing Service) and they breakdown as follows:

This is great news for the local market, as luxury homes sales had slowed with the downturn in the economy.  In August of 2008, there were 27 homes sold with an average sales price of $303 per foot.
