The worst insult I have never received (thankfully) is... Boring. In my opinion, it is worse to be boring than anything else. Someone will always think they can do your job better than you, that they are generally better than you, etc. But this is something you can control. Do you always have something that you could be doing instead of being bored? I bet you do! So here are a few lists of the best things to do in Fort Collins, Colorado, to help anyone overcome that, umm, boredom!

*Note: Some things may fall into more than one category, so they will be posted in anything they fall into.

The categories are:

  • Restaurants
  • Outdoorsy Stuff
  • Free Stuff
  • 21 and Up

Restaurants

1. Try a "Colorado Rueben" at Choice City Butcher.

2. Breakfast at Lucile's - a rajun cajun type of place with flare that is ALWAYS packed.

3. Breakfast at Snooze. Personal favorites: Pancake of the day and the Bella Benny, although I have NEVER had a bad meal here!

4. Enjoy a cone at Walrus Ice Cream. Things to love about Walrus are life changing waffle cones, root beer floats, alcohol flavors like Guiness Carbomb and Jack Chip, Saturdaes, malts, shakes, banana splits and ice cream cakes.

5. Have dinner and a margarita at The Rio Grande! Frozen strawberry mango swirls are delicious!

6. Uncles Pizzeria - a great place to go for some MASSIVE pizza pie!

7. For some adventure go to Thai Pepper, an amazing restaurant with food that will knock your socks off! Just watch out for the peppers in your food!

8. Pulcinella Pizza! On the note of pizza, try the gourmet spinach slice here!
