beer and bratSt. Susanna Family Festival September 9-11 2011

Just because summer is winding down you didn't think we were done having fun did you?  Here's another opportunity as Mason's St. Susanna Catholic Church hosts the St. Susanna Family Festival this coming Friday to Sunday!

Located at 616 Reading Road in Mason (just above the Tylersville Road intersection), St. Susanna's Family Festival will be open Friday 5 p.m. to Midnight, Saturday 4 p.m. to Midnight and Sunday from noon to 10 p.m.  Parking is available on the football field.

You can expect all the usual Festival food at this event:  Fish fry, chicken dinners, homemade pizza, Brats, Metts, corn on the cob, funnel cakes and more!

There's live entertainment each day with bands, Mason Idol performance and even a magician Sunday at 2:30!

And of course there will be rides at the festival, and Sunday $20 gets a RIDE ALL DAY bracelet!

And what's a parish festival without some opportunity to contribute to parish funds?  Bingo Saturday 5-9, Sunday 2-7, and poker, blackjack and other card games will be available.

And for the serious fundraising, there's a Grand Raffle that COULD win you $15,000 in cash OR a 2011 VW Golf OR a Sea Ray 175 Sport Bowrider and Trailer, and 2 cash drawings of $100 each.  The drawing will be Sunday at 10 p.m. and you don't have to be present to win.  Tickets are $2 each or 3 for $5, or if you want to go big time, purchase a $100 Personal Sponsorship and get 30 tickets AND be recognized on the Grand Raffle Sponsorship Board!  Tickets available at the Information Desk or the Parish Office and of course at the Festival.

And you know there has to be an auction, right?  There will be a silent auction with all kinds of goodies up for bid, so take your chance and you might leave with more than you came with!

So ready to visit another festival?  For more information, click the link for the St. Susanna Family Festival website or call the Parish Office at 513.398.3821.

Mary, True, you never know who you'll meet at one of these festivals!

It's been years since I've been to a church festival, but growing up, three were a "must" every year.  Our parish, my Grandparents parish and the one in Little Italy!  This sounds like great fun BLiz.

Roger, Hmmm, that Little Italy sounds like a don't miss festival!  We attended one about 3-4 years ago, quite the crowd there!

Andy, It's lunch time SOMEWHERE!  I used to work third shift years ago and I'd have been quite happy to have gotten a good hot dog or burger after working all night :)  Bill
