This would be one of those events that I'd prefer watching to participating in.

Back in 1978 I saw Queen play in Munich.  That was the Bicycles Tour and they had the naked bicycle race on stage, a little something that was cut from the American shows.  

I am a cyclist and I would love to do something like that, but I assure you, that seat and an unprotected butt, not a happy time!

Wow, I think there would be too much bouncing and jiggling for me but good for them!  I'm sure it was a stitch to watch!

Christopher: I think you already have to have great self esteem to participate. As in past years, I see that not every rider goes completely nude. Also, the comment about riding naked on a bike seat is well taken. Even as well padded as I am, don't think that would be very comfortable.

Hi Christopher & Stephanie - We had the Tour de Fat this weekend - totally the other direction, with everyone dressed up in weird costumes. I'd guess it was more bizarre than the naked one - people really go all out for that exact effect - but less chafing.

What a hoot!  With some, it was hard to tell if they were cheating with a bit of clothing, or was it tats?  Sounds like fun!

You thought your title would pull us in.  NAKED.  Well it worked.  I ride a bike, but naked riding doesn't sound comfortable to me.  I don't like anything dangling off the bike, it's dangerous.

Saw it on the news ..What a gas .. Looks like it would be a bit uncomfortable to ride that way ..but what a Hoot to watch

Christopher and Stephanie, thanks for sharing. Wow, I've never heard of this. I prefer nakedness and freedom in my own house, but promoting fuel concious consumption, positive body image, and cycle advocacy sounds good to me. :)

Well....there must be something in the air ...or water..... Asheville just had a big "protest" sponsored by GoTopless.org designed to give women equal opportunities to go topless without restrictions in Asheville.

The problem with the "protest" is women are not banned from going topless here anyway.
