Buckingham   Township, Bucks County, Real Estate Market report August 2011.

I looked up the mls for Residential listings that sold in August 2011. This is what I found:

There were 26 homes that sold in August 2011.

The average original price of these homes was $530,158

The average last list price of these was $512,264

The average sale price was $477,933

Highest sale price was $1,025,000

Lowest sale price was $110,000

The average  number of days the homes were marketed was 155

The above does not include commercial, multi units and sale by owner and homes not listed.It is subject to errors and omissions.

Quite a difference between list and sales price but homes are definitely moving in Buckingham Township.  Good market report Gita.

Hi Gita. It seems that your higher ends homes sell for a lot less than what they were originally listed for. This must be the norm for those higher end homes.

Jerry, Yes. Prices for higher end homes are less than they were last year.
