September 5th, 2011. Labor Day 2011! Last night I took my daughter to the pool for a swim as the community pools will be closing after today. The day had been overcast and the weather was under triple digits finally...there was a wind blowing in as tropical storm LEE fell apart over LA. It let me know that it was indeed time for fall...Labor Day. Must be magic or something because here came labor day and here came fall. I see today is a beautiful day outside...just a little bit cooler than it was yesterday.
The official end of summer as it's known.
The pool was COLD. It had felt like a warm tub all summer, but today was different.
So go on out and enjoy Labor Day 2011. Have fun and relax. We've earned it as we plow through one of the more turbulent times in our country's recent history...remember, it will be Labor that will put the US back on the track of world leader.
So relax and enjoy Labor Day 2011. There will be time enough to deal with the coming issues soon enough!
