As we approach the 2012 political season it may be nice to call your Congressional Representatives office, or at least visit their website to get a better feel for what is important to them. We, the people, have only one way to influence politics in our area, and that is who we vote in, and more importantly, who we vote out. Once a Representative is in office, it’s pretty much impossible to influence them to any meaningful degree. Once they’re in office, they vote with their leadership the vast majority of the time.
