Real Estate Market Report | White Sulphur Springs, WV | Greenbrier County
If you like living in small towns, with a low crime rate, and love to golf you may want to check out White Sulphur Springs........a small southern town located in Greenbrier County, West Virginia. As of the 2000 census, the population was 2,315. White Sulphur Springs is home of the world renowned Greenbrier Resort and Spa, and home of the soon to be Greenbrier Medical Institute.
At this time, I have two listings in White Sulphur Springs. Motivated seller has just reduced the below listing from $224,500 to $199,900. This 1912, 4BR, 3BA renovated farmhouse sits on 3.23 acres in a quiet and peaceful setting. The house has a new metal roof and new state of the art duct work. There is also a water softener/purifier; paved driveway; 2 car garage, shed and a partial fence on side of house. The total square feet is 2,880.
The below listing is zoned R2 for commercial and/or residential. This is a wonderful 3-story, all brick, 1819 historical house that sits on about an acre of land just one mile from The Greenbrier. The main house is 4,000 sq.ft. and has seven bedrooms and six baths, and eight fireplaces. Also on the property is a one-bedroom log cabin built in 1794....a great rental income. Both the house and cabin have been renovated.

With the construction of the Greenbrier Medical Institute, I think the land in White Sulphur Springs, as well as houses, will start to go upward. With interest rates still low, now is the time to start thinking of buying property, and/or making those necessary home repairs to market your house.
