September 11th Concert 2011, FREE
Sunday, September 11, 3 p.m.
2011 marks the 10th anniversary of the 9/11 tragic events in the United States. Remarkably, on this same date in 1956, the Sister Cities movement emerged from a White House Summit on Citizen Diplomacy. Featuring performances by local musicians, dancers and singers, the September 11th Concert is an opportunity to spread a message of hope through music, movement and the spoken word as we pay tribute to both of these events. 

The Town of Cary joins the Sister Cities Association of Cary, Sister Cities International and our four Sister Cities in presenting this worldwide event with a local concert.

Join the Triangle Brass Band for "Pops in the Park!" The brass band will perform an audience-pleasing selection of marches, musicals, light classical music and traditional brass band tunes. 

One Leg Up, Free

Based in Asheville, North Carolina, One Leg Up performs a vibrant mixture of upbeat Gypsy Jazz, Latin, Swing and original jazz compositions. Rain location: Kiwanis Shelter
