For those of you that think the Superbowl is just for football, think again. The operators of the University of Phoenix Stadium home of the the 42nd Superbowl, Global Spectrum in conjunction with St. Mary's/Westside Food Bank Alliance are teaming up to collect 63,400 meals, the exact number of seats in the stadium.

The food drive is called "Supper Bowl 2008" and it began last Sunday during a bridal show at the stadium. People attending events at the stadium now until the big game are encouraged to bring nonperishable food items for donations.

This is a terrific "take off" on the big game and will benefit many individuals in need. If you are coming to one of the events please participate in this very worthwhile event.

This is NOT a misprint, it is meant to be the "Supper Bowl" which is a takeoff on the Super Bowl which is held at the University of Phoenix Stadium. The tied it in as close as possible to the big game for awareness. Thanks to all for reading the post.
