I stumbled upon this this evening over at materialicious.com.  This is a do it yourself type project where you can create a non-toxic stucco or plaster for both inteior or exterior walls.  It is made mainly of diatamacious earth.  Visit the website at www.japanesewall.com.

This is a great product to consider if you are doing an interior or exterior remodel or helping clients to identify safe, healthy alternatives to the typical remodel issues.
