Dear ActiveRain, (Sounds like I'm addressing to a demi-internet powerful being, LOL)

("We know who ActiveRain is.... it's all the participating MEMBERS!")

I've learned and shared more here within just a month than in my own real estate market for years! The nature of the Blog-O-Sphere has sped up the learning and sharing process by several fold. And it's not costing me thousands of dollars of class room time!

I think I know why:

  • The Power of the Internet and Blogging! Free sharing of the minds and quick resource links! (Of course have to go through some spams and spamsters.)
  • Many AR Members are not full of themselves. Many members are willing participants to the learning and sharing process when blogging about Real Estate & Marketing, and a touch of home town mix and match info-mercials spread on AR.
  • Realtors on AR feel less intimidated to share online because it takes away some personal barriers that one feels when otherwise face-to-face or in a room with bunch of other Realtors and strangers. Most people feel comfort in their own environment and behind the monitor. Don't have the threatening eyes staring back, LOL. (Gee, can you imagine everyone in their underwear? You know that old saying about getting front of a crowd to give a speach... picture the audience in their underwear to dissicipate one's fright in standing front of the crowd.) In our AR case, yes... indeed... everyone could be in their Superman and Cat Woman under-roos.  :)
  • NO AR Member is an expert! So, more likely to share and learn. (Well, I take it back. There are some people who really play to be an "expert" movie role on AR episodes. And it comes through in the blogs. Hehehe. Look for a future AR Academy Awards presentation in March to those individuals. It'll be brought to you by the n-PRO members.)
  • Nearly most Members are humble and are willing to learn and share. That comes plainly across in many blogs. Of course there are those who will be the same in real life as on the AR monitor. That's the law of averages. Although that number appears to be relatively small on AR, which is great!

Hopefully some of my blogs have contributed to your own process as some of your blogs have added to my gray matter too!

So, in a nut shell.... Thank YOU Humble AR Members. May Good Karma shine your days and Good Market to Ya!
