B J's Home Cooking in Hapeville is a good home cooked food with a simple approach to the menu and the pricing. A full home cooked style breakfast with drink includes eggs, bacon or sausage, home fries, a biscuit and coffee all for about $4. Breakfast offerings also include grits, chicken sausage, turkey bacon, and a variety of juice drinks.
B J's Home Cooking in Hapeville is also a good place for lunch. For a meat entree, two vegetables, bread and drink you can choose between fried whiting, quarter baked chicken (white meat or dark meat), chopped barbecue pork, country fried steak in brown gravy with white rice, and lasagna. All for only (exactly) $6. Yep they have got it down so that you come in knowing the most you will spend on lunch or dinner is$6. If you want dessert (slice of cake or pie featured for the day) add another $2. The fried green tomatoes is one of my favorites.
B J's Home Cooking in Hapeville is located just off of Virginia Avenue next to Willy's Mexican Grill. It's a single location in Hapeville open until 8PM on weekdays and 3PM on Saturdays (closed on Sundays). Breakfast starts at 7AM.
