  • The rehabilitation work must be performed by a qualified licensed contractor, who is paid after the City inspects and the owner approves work.
  • According to Burbank Residential Rehabilitation Program, funding is based on availability and assistance is on a first-come, first-serve basis.
  • Non-permitted structures may require compliance with Building and Safety Code prior to approval.
  • Deferred loan @ 3% simple interest, No repayment until title transfer or sale, loan amounts from $47,200 to $89,000 depending of your number of persons in your household, please verify updated info, Code items and general property improvements.
  • Grant Programs with no repayment required, from $24,250 to $45,750 also based on number of persons in your household, code and accessibility items only
  • List of improvements is based on the Health and Safety Cod'es Priority list.
  • Assistance with bidding, contract administration, construction activity monitoring and payment disbursement.
  • A contractor list is provided upon request.
