Friday's Fotos...

Friday's Fotos...
This morning I will take a break from my video blog series and post another in the series this afternoon.
My nemesis in the photography world has always been and still is hummers. Being so fast and darting too and fro in an instant hardly gives one time to set up and push the shutter release.
While watching this little one working the bush, I focused on a likely area she might be next. HAH!!! Sometimes you do get lucky. But then, in this business, I'd rather be lucky than good...

Amazing little birds. Love finding their nest, so tiny and tight and well constructed.

Hi Michael~ Good shot!

When we lived in Arizona, I really worked at capturing some humming birds that would come into our yard. I set up my tripod, got the remote out and spent the better part of a day clicking shots! I did manage to catch a few good photos that are resting in my dead as a doornail PC!

Someday, i will need to get my photos out of the hard drive!

HAPPY FRIDAY from Seattle,

Mike,

I agree...hummers are always difficult to photograph well.

Hi Michael, I teach my Hummers to sit still and smile, LOL. Actually I am only just sort of kidding. I have one that does like to pose.
