Bloomfield CT Town Hall ~ A Great Experience
Real estate agents spend a fair amount of time in town halls gathering deeds, maps, and other records related to real estate transactions. For the most part, town hall employees are generally helpful as they answer the thousands of questions that come their way.
Last week, however, I had to go to the Bloomfield CT Town Hall and was amazed by the friendliness, helpfulness, and downright cheerfulness of everyone I met. From the couple sitting at the Information booth, to the desk person who jumped up to get the deed for me, to an unknown employee who struck up a conversation with me as I was leaving the building, I had to wonder if I was in Connecticut (those who live here will know what I mean--people here do not tend to strike up casual conversations with strangers)! It was enough to make one stop and look around.
And look around I did! I usually run in and out of town halls as fast as I can, but I felt I should stop and appreciate the ambience that was just created for me. I noticed what a beautiful building Bloomfield Town Hall is, even in the rain!
I also read a sign that I had never bothered to read and found out that Bloomfield was originally called Wintonbury, which was a combination of Windsor, Farmington, and Simsbury.
Sometimes it really pays to stop and look around you, instead of bustling through all of life. If you are looking for any information about the town of Bloomfield CT, stop in at the Bloomfield Town Hall; the friendly people there will help you find what you are looking for!
