23 Comments on "Central Market" - Local Business on the Kitsap Peninsula
Rich,
Another blog about food! It surprises me you don't weigh 1200 lbs.
This is a great store. I've been there often. They maintain a bulletin board with hundreds (maybe thousands) of pictures taken by their customers all over the world, holding a Central Market shopping bag! It's very cool to look through the pics. I don't know how it got started, but it's the only grocery store I have seen with it.
Sushi for breakfast was not something I considered until now...do they deliver?
kk
Brian - it's actually very similar in feel to some of the "open air" markets down your way. Yes, local content is so much fun. It never garners a lot of comments or points, but hopefully, in the BIG picture, it will drive consumers to moi.
Chris - it's a tad pricey, but you can just lose yourself in the various market areas!
Carole - it's been a godsend for satisfying my frequent sushi fix. We have a couple sushi restaurants nearby, but the sushi at Central Market is very fresh and well presented.
MF - is there EVER a bad time for sushi????
Mark - I do weight 1200 lbs., I just wear it well! Yeah, I've seen the "Bag" Board. Fascinating, effective and fun marketing! I love their paper bags, by the way! Old school with handles!
KK - no, you have to come out here. My treat! :)
Shari - yes, I am using them to my advantage! :)
Rick & Ines - I just highlight places that I frequent, that I can recommend unreservedly. And again, by putting myself in the consumer's shoes, what stores and services would I want to know about when I first move to an area? Thank you for your kind encouragement!
Rich..... I am trying pick up the sushi off the screen, but it's not working.
George... fried? fried? yuk... does anyone even fry sushi? lol
Everything fried, is there any other way?
Now I think I will turn in for the night and dream about my fried sushi.
TEMPURA George, it's called TEMPURA!
ME like TEMPURA!!!
As for the flying fish, I saw too many of them when I was in the Navy. I don’t want to even look at them any more, not even the eggs, that is unless you FRY them Rich.
found this post looking for the term, treating you like royalty. It was on page 10 mind you but still interesting that someone's comment shows up at all. hmm that fish is making me hungry.
