I was listening to my collection of the greatest hits of songs that I have collected over the years. I like hearing the words in the song and enjoying the meaning. The main singer was good and the back-up players who support the main vocalist play major roles in making it all a lasting impression. Add a catchy beat and you got song

I JUMP RIGHT IN

I like to sing along with certain songs. Some I sing lead to and some I sing the back ground. One day I was at a karaoke bar and with coaxing was pressured by all my friends to get up and sing. They expected me to flub it but it went the other way. I sang Teenager in Love by Dion and the Belmonts and every girl swooned and approached the stage some on their knees. I was then asked to sing again and I did Live for Today by the Grass Roots... I made the whole room join me on the chorus...

SONGS ARE LIKE POSTS

If you choose to believe it, a post is like a song in a way. It has a title, a beginning, an explanation or statement, it repeats or gives examples and then closes on its point. My posts are like if I am talking to an old friend and enjoy their company. However, when I sing, its because I enjoy my own company

THE OLD LOVE SONGS...THEY RULE

I especially enjoy love songs because they talk of two hearts finding and then getting together and doing simple but great things. Walking on the beach, going out, moonlights, eating, sunsets, date night, driving around, special occasions and the list is endless of two getting together to become one for the evening.

WOLF-MAN JACK..local DJ back then

Wolf-man Jack aka the wolf-man was a local DJ in the sixties who played great oldies but goodies and was also famous for making crank phone calls on the air to unsuspecting people. His audience was always in on it. He would often call the operator or 411 asking for the number of Mr. I Love you or call businesses asking miscellaneous questions out of the blue and have a howl (literally) every once in a while.

Dedications were a big thing too. This is Rosie wanting to dedicate to Eddie..."My Prayer" by the Platters and the Wolf-man would comment Eddie...can you dig it man...can you dig it. Then, the record kicked on and you turned up the volume.

TO EACH HIS OWN...

Today...On some songs, I am not able to make out the words nor are they attractive to want to hear in some cases. The oldies but goodies will never go out of style. Always remember this and you will have a smile...

She loves you...yeah yeah yeah
