Chris, funny how when it rains it pours. It's been reminder after reminder this week about those beauties. I have to make a point and get out there to see them up close and be in awe. Wow!
Nice pictures Chris. I too was going to mention Calaveras Big Trees state park, but Meryl beat me to it. We do have some beautiful scenery here in Ca.
I remember as a child seeing the redwoods and being incredible struck by their size. Somewhere there is a picture of me standing in the trunk of one as well.
Good evening, Chris. Redwoods are one of nature's awesome spectacles...
Chris- I've never seen the Redwoods in person but it is something I do want to see. Awe-inspiring.
Chris ~ what awesome photos! I love what Mother Nature does and how beautiful it truly is.
These are incredible. I'm in awe at the size of them. Any idea of how old these trees are?
Chris~ That is one Mammoth tree! Zoikes!
Amazing pictures Chris! This is something your son will one day look back on and remember.
Hi Chris, we have old, old photos of my family seeing this park and these venerable trees. Your son will never forget this. I hope they are around when its time for him to take his children to see them.
Thanks for sharing your experience and your photographs.
I hope you are having an outstanding weekend.

Chris, wow what great shots and those trees....another Wow! We have two Sequoia Redwood trees in our front yard that I cannot put my arms around. How proud we are to have these ancient beings standing guard for us. They are massive and beautiful! Thanks for bringing these friends of yours for us to see!
We definitely need to stand in awe of the beauty which so often surrounds us. Great pictures Chris.
